Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????Chicken Noodle Soup is a classic. Every time I was sick, my mom would make me homemade chicken noodle soup. This soup is comfort food and really quick to prepare. Your whole family will enjoy this soup!

Let’s Get Cooking!

You will need:

3-4 cups of cooked shredded Chicken ( I use thighs and breasts. Boil them in water and salt for 25-30 minutes and pull chicken away from the bones. Discard the bones.)

2 cups of sliced Fresh Carrots

1 cup of sliced Celery

1/4 cup of Fresh Parsley finely chopped

4 cups of Chicken Broth

1 cup of Half & Half

1 Onion diced

1 bag of Egg Noodles

1/2 stick of Butter

1 can of Cream of Chicken Soup

Directions:

In a large pot or dutch oven, add onion, celery, carrots, chicken, parsley, half & half, chicken broth and butter. Bring to a boil and add noodles. Then add the cream of chicken soup. Simmer on low-medium heat for about 20 minutes until veggies and pasta are tender. Season with salt and black pepper.

Serve Warm.
