Fresh Fruit Tart

fruit tartFruit Tarts are actually easy to make even if they might look complicated. They are really pretty desserts to take to Holiday dinners or events. And you can even let the kids help you by placing the fruit on the tart. They are delicious and are perfect for a light and sweet dessert. Get creative with the fruit selection or make it a Holiday Themed Tart.

Let’s Get Baking! 

You will need:

1 & 1/2 sticks of Butter

1 & 1/2 cups of All-Purpose Flour

1/2 cup of Confectioner Sugar

2 packages of Cream Cheese (8oz each)

1 Tube of Cool Whip

1 Box of Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix

2 cups of Powdered Sugar- can add more if not sweet enough

At least 3 different Fresh Fruits: Choose from Strawberries, Blueberries, Raspberries, Blackberries, Pineapple, Kiwi, Peaches or any other fruit you prefer. Slice them.


In a food processor, blend sugar, flour and butter until a ball forms. Fit the dough into a well-greased tart pan 9 or 12 inches. Bake for 10 minutes at 350F until golden brown and let cool.  In the mean time, blend with a hand mixer the cream cheese, cool whip, vanilla pudding mix, and powdered sugar together until smooth.  Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into the tart.  Top with your favorite sliced fruits in a decorative manner. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.  Slice and Serve.
