Brown Sugar & Bacon Green Beans

green beansNeed a side dish for the Thanksgiving Holiday? This dish won’t disappoint your guests. This recipe is sweet with the brown sugar and savory with the crispy bacon. Yum!

Let’s Get Cooking!

You will need:

2-3 Cans of Green Beans strained (Frozen work too just let them thaw first)

1 teaspoon of Brown Sugar

1 cup of Bacon Chopped

1/2 Onion diced

1 Garlic Clove minced

1 teaspoon of Butter

Salt & Black Pepper for Taste

Directions:

In a skillet, cook on medium heat the onion, garlic and bacon until bacon is crispy. This usually takes about 4-5 minutes. Pour off Bacon Grease and add the green beans, butter and brown sugar to the skillet. Stir well. Season with Salt and Black Pepper. Sauté for another 4-5 minutes on low to medium heat (Thawed Frozen Green Beans might take a couple of extra mintues). Serve with you Holiday Meal.
