This is the easiest pasta recipe ever. Nothing fancy about this recipe, but a quick meal. Sometimes I do a variation by placing cooked breaded chicken in these shells too for Chicken Parmesan Stuffed Shells.
Let’s Get Cooking!
You will need:
1 pound of cooked Meatballs of your choice or the pre-cooked meatballs thawed. (if you would like my meatball recipe just tell me in the comments).
1 Box of Large Pasta Shells
1 Jar of Marinara Sauce or make your own
2 cups of shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Veggies (Optional): I add 1/2 cup of mushrooms,1-2 garlic cloves chopped and 1/2 cup of onion diced. But you could add other veggies too such as green peppers. Sauté veggies for a few minutes (about 3-4 minutes) in a skillet with 1 teaspoon of oil or butter before topping pasta.
Boil pasta according to box directions. Salt your pasta water. Strain pasta and add 1 tablespoon of butter to the pasta and mix well. Stuff the cooked meatballs into the shells and lay them into a casserole dish. Toss veggies on top and pour Marinara Sauce on top of shells and veggies. Sprinkle Mozzarella Cheese on top of sauce. Bake at 350F for about 20 minutes. Serve.
