Cabbage & Kielbasa Sausage

cabbage and sausageI have been eating cabbage and sausage for years. My grandparents grow cabbage in their garden every year. So, we eat a lot of fried, baked and boiled cabbage. We also eat a lot of coleslaw. This is an easy recipe and full deliciousness. šŸ™‚

Let’s Get Cooking!

You Will Need:

1 head of Cabbage sliced or diced

1 package of Kielbasa Sausage sliced

1/2 Onion diced

1 Garlic Clove minced

1/4-1/2 cup of Chicken Broth or Vegetable Broth (depends on how big the head of cabbage is)

3 tablespoons of Butter

Pinch of Salt and Black Pepper

I also add 1 tablespoon Bacon Drippings or Grease if I have it available.


Place all ingredients into a casserole dish and cover with foil. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes. Or you can fry this in a skillet on the stove on medium heat until cabbage is tender. I usually cover with a lid to keep the moisture inside the skillet. Season as needed and Serve.
