You will need:
1 package of Macaroni & Cheese and ingredients according to box
2-3 cups of Italian Bread Crumbs
3 Eggs beaten
Oil for Frying
Tip: There’s a lot of ways to spice this recipe up such as making your own mac and cheese or adding other spices to the bread crumbs. The options are endless. 🙂
Cook the macaroni and cheese according to box and let cool in the refrigerator for several hours until firm. Form mac and cheese balls with the cold mac and cheese. Place the balls onto parchment paper and freeze for 2 hours. Then dip each ball into the eggs and then into the bread crumbs. Make sure the balls are well coated. Pre-Heat Oil to 350F. Drop the balls into the hot oil and cook for 3-4 minutes until both sides are brown. Drain mac and cheese balls onto a paper towel. Lightly salt. Serve.
