Southern Pecan Pie

Let’s Get Baking!

You will need:

1 cup of Corn Syrup (Light or Dark) (your choice)

1 cup of Sugar

3 Eggs

1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

2 cups of Pecan Halves

2 tablespoons of Butter melted

1 (9inch) Deep Dish Pie Crust (store bought or homemade) thawed


Once pie crust is fitted to pie plate, trim the edges to remove excess pie crust, poke a few holes into the crust with a fork and bake at 350F for about 10 minutes. In a bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, butter, corn syrup, vanilla extract and pecan halves. Pour into the prepared pie crust. Bake at 350F for about 60 minutes. Let completely cool before slicing this pie. Serve.
